They are light weight. The earrings echo gems marked by the wearing of time, but originating from another world or civilisation.

About the Jeweller

Jade Mellor’s work pushes the boundaries between Art and science. With a playful lens she examines the micro through beautifully constructed jewellery. She often uses pyrite. Her designs are youthful and perfect for elevating any outfit.

Jade’s jewellery is a collection of wearable mini sculptures. Celebrating the raw, imperfect beauty of natural history, geology and archaeology. Using labour intensive techniques, she pushes material to its boundary. Jade’s trademark use of resin, to inject colour and texture, is inspired by natural processes such as fossilisation and mineral structures.  Echoing gems marked by the wearing of time, but originating from another world or civilisation.

Jade’s work centres creativity and curiosity. She is constantly researching ideas and techniques.
